Business Organizations

There are several organizations that provide information and assistance to business owners. Minority and DBEs might find additional assistance available through African-American or Black Chamber organizations.

A black chamber of commerce is a professional organization that represents the interests of African American business owners and entrepreneurs. Black chambers of commerce typically focus on promoting the growth and development of African-American-owned businesses, as well as advocating for policies that support economic development and entrepreneurship within the African American community.

These organizations may provide a range of services to their members, including networking opportunities, access to resources and training, and representation on policy issues that affect African American businesses.

There are two chamber organizations in Monroe that focus on minorities and DBEs.
